I'm Wouter Nijenhuis, a senior software engineer with over ten years of experience designing, building and operating business-critical systems. My work goes beyond application development: I work just as much on software architecture, cloud infrastructure, security, integration and production operations. The common thread is taking responsibility for the complete technical solution — from architecture through to production.

Since January 2021 I've worked on business-critical systems for international vehicle and data exchange within a complex European environment, at a Dutch government implementation agency in the mobility sector. That work includes designing modern .NET services and distributed applications, cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, asynchronous architecture with messaging, and building and improving CI/CD pipelines.

Under the name Neyon I now also work independently — for companies and government bodies that need senior .NET and cloud expertise outside my ongoing engagement. No account manager, no bench of juniors: you work directly with the person doing the work.
