This statement is voluntary. Neither the European Accessibility Act nor the Dutch government's digital-accessibility decree require it for a business site like this one — Neyon is a micro-enterprise with no consumer services. Neyon publishes it anyway, because building accessibly is exactly what public-sector clients expect from their suppliers, and because it's the right way to build a website.

Conformance target

Neyon builds and maintains this site to WCAG 2.2, level AA, with AAA on several dimensions (notably colour contrast and focus visibility).

Concretely

  • Text contrast well above the AA threshold (verified per colour token in the design system).
  • Full keyboard operability, with visible focus indicators.
  • Interactive elements at least 24×24 pixels.
  • prefers-reduced-motion support, with an in-page preference toggle.
  • Semantic HTML and a logical heading structure.
  • No CAPTCHA puzzles — spam mitigation is invisible, with no cognitive test.
